Atlanta’s Westside, home to Dr. Martin Luther King and other prominent leaders, had fallen into economic stagnation and de-population. A coalition of public and private organizations is working to restore this historic community, help it become sustainable, and make it possible for long-time residents to remain and prosper as their community experiences gentrification.
